Cecilia Brogi is a speech and language therapist with almost 10-year experience in assessing speech, language and communication difficulties and planning personalised therapy programs for adults and children. Over 8 years of working experience in Italy, she has practised in multiple institutions developing a strong knowledge in different areas. In 2015, Cecilia joined the Otolaryngology department at San Raffaele Hospital (Milan) where she increased her expertise in assessing receptive difficulties secondary to hearing loss and delivering therapy plans to train auditory skills, speech intelligibility and understanding for cochlear implanted adults. Between 2016 and 2018, she has worked at Fondazione Sacra Famiglia (Milan) providing assessment and therapy for children affected by speech and language disorders alongside communication difficulties secondary to learning disabilities. In 2019, she moved to London and started working as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant at Whittington Health NHS, supporting the therapy team in providing care packages to adults with Learning Disabilities. In April 2021, Cecilia started working as a Speech and Language Therapist at Alexandra Centre for Further Education in London, providing intervention for students with learning disabilities.
In November 2021, she joined the Mainstream Schools Therapy team, supporting children with speech, language, and communication needs in mainstream schools in Islington as a Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist.
