Dr Giulia Perucca is Consultant in Pediatric Radiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.
She graduated in Medicine with honours in 2008 and specialized in Radiology with honours in 2014 in Turin, Italy. She dedicated one year of her training to Pediatric Radiology at Vienna University Hospital, Austria (Allgemeine Krankenhaus Wien) and Montpellier University Hospital, France (Hôpital Gui de Chauliac). She subsequently obtained the Pediatric Radiology Diploma (Diplôme Inter Universitaire) at Kremlin Bicêtre, Université Paris-Sud, France.

Between 2019 and 2020 Dr Perucca worked for a year as a Locum Consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, UK, during a period of leave from the Italian hospital. Since January 2022 she is Substantive Consultant in Pediatric Radiology at GOSH. She covers every diagnostic modality (ultrasound, xray, CT, MRI). She is a member of the abdominal radiology Task Force of the European Society of Pediatric Radiology (ESPR) and of numerous other scientific societies. She has published on prestigious international papers, for which she is also a reviewer, and regularly attends the most relevant international congresses.
She was awarded with grants from the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the Société Francophone d’imagerie pédiatrique et prénatale (SFIPP), the Gesellschaft für Pädiatrische Radiologie (GPR) and the European Society of Pediatric Radiology (ESPR).
